I grew up in semi-rural New Hampshire and I return periodically to my family home to photograph the pastoral traditions that surrounded me growing up. The photos are part memory, part document, part fantasy - moments preserved and presented as momentous. At the same time I live my day to day life in suburban Boston. As a young adult and emerging artist moving from apartment to apartment, it is easy to feel like I've lost a true sense of home. To counteract this sense of loss, I use photography in an attempt to cultivate the same sense of abiding grace in the temporary spaces I inhabit.
